This 1989 BMW M3 (E30) Convertible, originally delivered new in Germany in July 1989, was purchased by a German executive and used sparingly, primarily during dry summer months, as documented in its service booklet. Imported to the UK in February 1997 by BMW specialists Munich Legends, it was subsequently acquired by a BMW Car magazine publisher, who featured the vehicle and its history in the publication (supporting documentation available). Finished in the distinctive Misano Red with the rare Ravaglia M-cloth seats and door inserts, it is believed to be one of fewer than 30 examples produced with this interior configuration. The previous owner reacquired the vehicle from Munich Legends in October 2001, as evidenced by available invoices. It has remained under the same ownership until its acquisition by City Classics in 2024.
